Hi, I'm Marcos, and I am a beginner English teacher in Brazil. I am majoring in English teaching and literature, phonetics and phonology. I am passionate for music, literature, video games, soccer and of course the English language. I started my degree in Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB) in 2015, and since then I have been learning a lot, not only about the english language, or teaching techniques, but also about myself.
I started teaching for a Scholarship Program for Teaching in public schools, which is known by the acronym PIBID. The program provides an experience of teaching in public schools for undergraduate students, in order to prepeare them better as future teachers. Thanks to the program and the guidance of the professor Msc. Wallace Barboza, I could experience the classrom atmosphere earlier, having the chance to fix and improve my skills as a teacher sooner, being able to deliver a better learning to the students who attend my classes on the program.
